Spa Etiquette

Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquillity. We politely request all spa clients to respect the peace and privacy of other guests. With this in mind, we are a mobile phone, camera and smoke free zone.

Appointments

We highly recommend that you book your treatment in advance to secure your preferred day and time. This can be done in person, online, by calling 020 7998 7872 or by emailing info@ayannaspa.co.uk.

Cancellation

Please inform us of any change or cancellation to a scheduled treatment at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellation fees will apply if sufficient notice is not given to cancel or amend any reserved treatments.

Arrival

For your first appointment, we invite you to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to check in and complete a consultation card. For subsequent appointments, we advise you to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your treatment time. Whilst we will always try to accommodate your treatments, late arrival may mean a reduction in your treatment time due to prior bookings although the full value of your treatment will be charged.

Patch Test

Please note for all IPL, peel and tint treatments, a patch test is required 24–48 hours prior.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones, while a necessary part of modern living, should be turned off or switched to silent mode. Please be considerate of other guests if an urgent call needs to be answered.

Minimum Age

Clients under the age of 16 years must provide parental consent for treatment to be administered.

Pregnancy

Ayanna Spa has specially selected treatments for expectant mothers. Please contact reception so that we can advise you on the most suitable treatments. We are unable to offer any massage treatments to expectant mothers in the first pregnancy trimester.

Spa Wear

We provide disposable underwear for your privacy and our therapists will advise you on their usage. They should be worn during water based treatments and massage treatments–our therapists are fully trained to drape you to protect your privacy at all times.

Well Being

Please remember to drink fluid, especially water during and after your time at spa. Gentleman should shave a few hours before any facial treatment to increase comfort. If you have enjoyed a massage we suggest you leave the oils on your skin for up to two hours before taking a shower so that your skin fully absorbs the oils’ properties. If you are pregnant or have any other condition that you feel we should be aware of, please inform our receptionist or your therapist. Please inform our therapist if at any time you are uncomfortable or require anything else during your treatment.

Valuables

We do not assume liability for any valuables so recommend that you leave such items at home.

Gratuities

Gratuities for good service are at our client’s discretion and are solely for your therapist.

Spa At Home

To extend your Ayanna Spa experience at home, treatment products are available for purchase. If for any good reason a purchased unopened product needs to be returned, a refund or exchange can be processed with 14 days of purchase with valid proof.

Gift Vouchers

The perfect gift for all occasions, gift vouchers can be purchased from the reception and online. Please be advised of our voucher terms and conditions as we adhere to them strictly:

Birthday Vouchers

Clients celebrating their birthday during the month will be sent a complimentary £10 voucher redeemable against a selection of treatments during the birthday month. Treatments excluded are manicures/pedicures, eyelash extensions and medical aesthetics as well as the purchase of home care products. The birthday voucher is non-transferable, has a single use, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with courses and special offers where a discount already applies.

Others

Please refrain from drinking any alcoholic beverage 3 hours or more before treatment. The therapist reserves the right to terminate a treatment if she feels the client’s behaviour is unacceptable.
